YOYOKA donated her first book, YOYOKA: The Truth About a 15-Year-Old Japanese Girl Drummer’s Roots and Her Journey in America, published in May 2026, to educational facilities and the public library in her hometown of Ishikari, Hokkaido.

The donation was made at YOYOKA’s request as a small way of giving back to her hometown.

The book is now available at 17 educational facilities and the Ishikari Public Library, for a total of 18 locations throughout the city.

YOYOKA also received a certificate of appreciation from the Ishikari Board of Education.
